Otium Wellness is a Calgary-based wellness clinic focused on “intentional leisure” offering purposeful rest and rejuvenation through a range of professional services. Their team provides massage therapy, acupuncture, manual osteopathy, and meditation in a welcoming, community-centered environment that supports holistic healing. Founded by Michelle Moraes, who has a background in nursing, anatomy, biomechanics, and personal training, Otium Wellness emphasizes proactive mind-body care and education, helping clients reconnect with their health and vitality.

Project Details

We created a set of five custom laser-engraved maple signs for their practice rooms, aligning with their Latin and wellness theme. Each sign featured a Latin word (AURA, LUX, QUIES, PAX, and VITA) paired with its English translation and a clean, meaningful icon. These pieces were designed to bring warmth and natural texture to the clinic while enhancing the calm, intentional atmosphere Otium offers its clients.
